What does Beyond Hivernal smell like?
A dsm-firmenich muguet base, not a single molecule: the house lists it as a balanced blend of Florol, Mayol, Hivernal Neo and a proprietary captive, built with their Natural Ingredients Centre as part of the Beyond Muguet work. It offers fresh, floral, muguet, watery and green notes associated with a light blooming transparency, with green, watery and aldehydic facets. Very stable, it replaces less stable floral aldehydes one for one and takes overdose well, where it lifts the freshness, transparency and diffusion of a muguet or white floral accord; it is one of the materials reached for in place of Lyral and Lilial.

Every
regulatory join - IFRA, GHS, allergens - is by CAS number, and a material can
supply one through its constituents as well as its own row, so of the
540 materials carrying no CAS number the 248 without a
constituent table are the ones that return "nothing known" rather than
"nothing applies". The blotter hours are sourced rather than measured by us, and the app
labels every one of them an estimate. There is no physical chemistry on a row:
no molecular weight, no vapour pressure, no boiling point.
