What does Bergamot Essential Oil FCR smell like?

Sparkling, sweet-tart citrus with a distinctive floral-lavender and slightly spicy tea-like nuance, more refined than other citrus oils. The backbone of colognes and fougeres; perfumers use it generously in top notes to lend elegance and lift. FCR grade: the FURANOcoumarins are rectified and REDUCED rather than removed. That is the only claim the grade carries: one supplier also prints coumarin-free, but rectification targets the phototoxic furanocoumarins and bergamot's other coumarins are not what it removes, so this row does not repeat it. Coumarin is an EU-declarable allergen and a free-of claim about it belongs on an analysis, not in a description. The residual figure is the supplier's own spec rather than a standard, so treat it as restricted until that figure says otherwise; the FCF grade is the bergapten-free one. Scent is essentially the plain oil, marginally less full in the deep facets.
