Is Versalide banned in perfume?
IFRA standard: Acetyl ethyl tetramethyl tetralin (AETT) · Category 4, 51st Amendment
Prohibited
IFRA prohibits Versalide in fine fragrance (Category 4, 51st Amendment): it may not be added to a perfume at any level.
Versalide is also banned in EU cosmetics (Regulation 1223/2009, Annex II, entry 362).
