What does Sandal Spirit smell like?

An IFF sandalwood base the supplier describes as a deeply spiritual and devotional essence, built on an immensely rich sandalwood note over a creamy, lactonic backdrop. Its listed facets run apple, coconut, cumin, lactonic, leather, musky, rose, sandalwood and woody, so the wood arrives already dressed in milky lactones, with a rosy-fruity lift on top and a faint cuminic, leathery animalism underneath. In a formula it stands in for scarce Mysore sandalwood oil, giving body and creamy persistence to woody-oriental, oud and white-floral accords without the cost or supply risk of the natural.

Every regulatory join - IFRA, GHS, allergens - is by CAS number, and a material can supply one through its constituents as well as its own row, so of the 558 materials carrying no CAS number the 257 without a constituent table are the ones that return "nothing known" rather than "nothing applies". The blotter hours are sourced rather than measured by us, and the app labels every one of them an estimate. There is no physical chemistry on a row: no molecular weight, no vapour pressure, no boiling point. The longer answer, or the whole catalog counted.
