What does Methyl Linoleate smell like?
Faint oily-fatty note like fresh vegetable oil, with a waxy texture and a soft woody undertone. Weak and barely volatile, it works as a texturiser and co-fixative rather than for its own smell, echoing the fatty esters of champaca and jasmine absolutes. A linoleic acid methyl ester that oxidises readily, so it is kept cool.
