What does l-Linalool smell like?

The laevo half of linalool, and the one that smells of lavender rather than of coriander: cooler, woodier and drier than the racemate, with the soft floral sweetness pulled back and a cleaner herbaceous edge left in its place. It is what carries true lavender, where it runs a quarter to nearly half the oil, and ho wood, where it is almost the whole of it. Reach for it when ordinary linalool reads too sweet under a fougere or a lavender accord. The dextro isomer is the other material entirely: warm, herbaceous, the coriander one.

Restricted under IFRA. This material carries a restriction. PerfuMate checks your formula against the 51st Amendment as you build, including the same molecule arriving from several naturals at once. What that covers, and what it does not.

What can replace l-Linalool?

Computed, not collected from forums. A pair covers together what one cannot. The number is the engine's match, not a promise.

Every regulatory join - IFRA, GHS, allergens - is by CAS number, and a material can supply one through its constituents as well as its own row, so of the 522 materials carrying no CAS number the 226 without a constituent table are the ones that return "nothing known" rather than "nothing applies". The blotter hours are sourced rather than measured by us, and the app labels every one of them an estimate. There is no physical chemistry on a row: no molecular weight, no vapour pressure, no boiling point. The longer answer, or the whole catalog counted.
