It is what carries true lavender, where it runs a quarter to nearly half the oil, and ho wood, where it is almost the whole of it. Reach for it when ordinary linalool reads too sweet under a fougere or a lavender accord. The dextro isomer is the other material entirely: warm, herbaceous, the coriander one.
