What does Floralox smell like?
Symrise's own datasheet gives the odour as floral, rose, geranium, green, parsley and says it adds the metallic touch of rose oxide; The Good Scents Company reads the same material at 10% as rose, fresh, green, herbal, phenolic, bitter and parsley. It is the identical molecule Firmenich sell as Doremox, described there as a powerful rosy note more complex than rose oxide and more refined than diphenyl oxide. In a formula it buys a cool metallic-green sparkle over a rose or geranium accord and can stand in for part of a costly natural rose oxide, at traces to about half a percent. Holds 48 hours on the blotter at full strength.
