What does Claritone smell like?
Symrise gives Citrus, Grapefruit, Clary Sage, Grape; The Good Scents Company files it as herbal and reads it as sweet herbal clary sage bergamot petitgrain tropical citrus. It is a fresh green citrus-herbal top with a peony-like floral edge and the fruity bite of grapefruit peel and clary sage oil. In a formula it gives citrus aldehydic accords a sparkling champagne lift and builds a very natural clary sage impression in fougeres; Symrise calls it a multifaceted booster from top to heart at 0.5 to 10 percent. Blotter life is short, under an hour by Perfumer's Apprentice's measure.
