Waxy and fatty first, then a green tropical pineapple body with a watercress bite and a metallic-soapy edge. The heaviest of the allyl fruit esters: where allyl caproate is pure juicy pineapple, this one smooths and fattens a fruit accord rather than brightening it, and like all allyl esters it needs free allyl alcohol below 0.1%.
