Steam-distilled from lesser galangal rhizome (Alpinia officinarum), a pungent, warm ginger-like spice with peppery, fresh herbal and slightly camphoraceous, myrtle-like nuances. Similar in feel to ginger oil, it adds spicy naturalness and warmth to gourmand and amber bouquets.
